The fourth annual Dash to the Door, a 5K/3-mile Fun Run/Walk for the Beersheba Clinic, was held on July 7, 2018.
Around 120 runners and walkers gathered for the trip to the Great Stone Door entrance and back. Attendance was down slightly this year because the 4th fell on a Wednesday. Fortunately, donations were up!
Thanks in part to the success of the Dash to the Door, free medical services at the Beersheba Clinic will be able to continue. We raised well over $20,000!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the event or donated to support us. Thanks also to all of those who pitched in – without our numerous and dedicated volunteers, this event would not be possible. Special thanks to 2018 DTTD Chair Elizabeth Papel, who did an outstanding job once again.
Special mention also needs to be made of the exceptional fundraising done once more by Flo King. Truly amazing!
As usual, our runners made quick work of the course.
The walkers came behind at a more leisurely pace.
