Dash to the Door 2017 Report

The third annual Dash to the Door, a 5K/3-mile Fun Run/Walk for the Beersheba Clinic, was held on July 1, 2017.

Around 150 eager runners and walkers gathered for the trip to the Great Stone Door entrance and back.

As usual, the runners got off to a fast start. Some new Dash records were set this year!

The walkers came behind at a more leisurely pace.

And our “sweepers” rode along, making sure everyone was doing okay.

Thanks in part to the success of the Dash to the Door, free medical services at the Beersheba Clinic will be able to continue! We raised close to $19,000!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the event or donated to support us. Thanks also to all of those who pitched in – without our numerous and dedicated volunteers, this event would not be possible. Special thanks to 2017 DTTD Chair Elizabeth Papel, who did an outstanding job in her first year in the role.

Special mention also needs to be made of the outstanding fundraising done by Flo King. Truly amazing!
