The second annual Dash to the Door, a 5K/3-mile Fun Run/Walk for the Beersheba Clinic, was held on July 4, 2016, with a shotgun send off.
Over 150 excited runners and walkers gathered for the trip to the Great Stone Door entrance and back.
Free medical services at the Beersheba Clinic will continue thanks in part to the success of the Dash to the Door, this year raising close to $24,000.
Dash to the Door is also about getting local people and summer people to have fun together. To encourage more local participation next year, the Dash will not be on the same day as the parade. This will allow local churches, children and young people to participate. Thanks to everyone who participated. Special thanks to 2016 DTTD co-Chairs Dillard Adams, Jr. and Kelly Baggett.
Thanks to everyone who made this event such a great success! And thanks again to Isabel Chenoweth for the great pictures!
